We offer a 12-week 11 v 11 Spring League for Men 35 and over (if you are 18-34 years old or would prefer to play in our adult league for all ages, please visit our 11 v 11 Spring League for Men 18+ page instead).  As a recreational program, we encourage playing for fun and camaraderie.

The league typically includes a range of skill levels, with some participants having played in college (or semi-pro), many have high-school experience, whereas others may have limited experience overall.

How Do I Register?

Registration for the 2022 Spring league is closed.

Registration for the 2023 Spring league should open in late January 2023.  We hope to see you then!

When Does the League Start and End?

The League will start the week of February 28, 2022.  We will have game and field information in mid-February, and all registrants will receive the information via email.

Each team plays once a week during the 10-game regular season and during the 2 weeks of playoffs (including a special "NIT" bracket!).

What Days and Times Are the Games Played?  How Many Times per Week?

Games are played at 6:30pm or 8:15pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.  Each team plays once per week.

Where are the Games Played?

The games will be played at the FAU Game Field, Spanish River Athletic Park, and Patch Reef Park.  The beginning of the season kicks off at FAU and then transitions to turf fields around playoff time.

What if There is Bad Weather?

In the event of bad weather, please call the City of Boca Raton's Field Conditions Hotline at 561-367-7068.  Games are cancelled if the fields are closed by the City.

If the field is open but the park lightning alarm activates, all players must leave the field and seek shelter.  Play may resume after the lightning alarm resets (typically 20-30 minutes after the last lightning strike detected).  Games may be cancelled due to lightning or weather at the discretion of the referees.

How Do You Determine Teams?

We expect to have 8 teams in the league, with 17 field players and a goalie per team.  We allocate players to teams via a draft by the captains, which typically allows us to achieve reasonable parity (which is an objective of the league).

Your team captain will email you shortly before the start of the season.

How Much Does It Cost?

Registration is $115 plus processing fees.  This includes the $90 league fee and $25 for the annual Florida State Soccer Association (FSSA) insurance fee.

Players who have already paid the FSSA insurance fee for this calendar year (Sept 2020 to Aug 2021) will only be charged $90 processing fees at checkout.

The fee includes a uniform (shirt only, no shorts) for all field players, field permits and 3 referees for each game.

There are discounts for goalies.  If you would like to play goalie for the league, please Contact Us for further info.

I'm Turing 35 This Year, Can I Play?

Yes, you are eligible to play if you turn 35 at any point this calendar year.

What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?

We accept payment via all major Credit or Debit cards at checkout.

What is Your Refund Policy?

  1. Before February 18, 2022, if requested, we can refund the League Fee.  Uniform, FSSA, and processing fees cannot be refunded
  2. After February 18, 2022, we are not able to provide refunds.  This policy is due to our lean SABR fee structure and minimum registrant requirements
  3. Further information is provided about refunds during the registration process

What Are the Rules?

The four key rules to note are:

  • All players must wear shin guards
  • Slide tackling is prohibited
  • Jewelry is prohibited, except for wedding bands
  • Excessive foul language and unsportsmanlike conduct are not tolerated

Shin Guards are required to play. For full rules, please visit our Adult League Rules page.
