Can I Captain a Team?

Yes, we currently have openings for team captains.  Please email youngmenssoccersabr@gmail.com to let us know you are interested.

You may be the next Pep or Klopp on your way to worldwide fame!

When Does the League Start and End?

The 2019 season will start on February 28.  We expect to finish around the end of May.

Each team plays once a week during the 9-game regular season and during the 3 weeks of playoffs (including a special "NIT" bracket the last 2 weeks!).

What Days and Times Are the Games Played?  How Many Times per Week?

Games are played at 6:30pm or 8:10pm on Thursdays.  Each team plays once per week.

Where are the Games Played?

The 2019 9-week regular season will be played at the beautiful grass FAU Game Field.

The 3 weeks of playoffs most likely will be played at Sand Pine Park.

Information about the fields can be access through the links above or from our Field List page.

What if There is Bad Weather?

In the event of bad weather, please call the City of Boca Raton's Field Conditions Hotline at 561-367-7068.  Games are cancelled if the fields are closed by the City.

If the field is open but the park lightning alarm activates, all players must leave the field and seek shelter.  Play may resume after the lightning alarm resets (typically 20-30 minutes after the last lightning strike detected).  Games may be cancelled due to lightning or weather at the discretion of the referees.

How Do You Determine Teams?

We expect to have 4 teams in the league, with 16 field players and 1 goalie each.

Since this is our first year, we will attempt to place any players that want to play together on the same team.  If you'd like to play with others, please email youngmenssoccersabr@gmail.com and let us know the names of the other players registering that you would like to play with.  We will do our best to try to accommodate, especially if your group includes someone who is interested in being a captain!

How Much Does It Cost?

Registration is currently estimated to be $125.  This includes the $100 league fee and $25 for the annual Florida State Soccer Association (FSSA) insurance fee.

Players who have already paid the FSSA insurance fee for this calendar year (Sept 2018 to Aug 2019) will only be charged $100 at checkout.

The fee includes a uniform for all field players, field permits and 3 referees for each game.

There are discounts for goalies.  If you would like to play goalie for the league, please email youngmenssoccersabr@gmail.com for further info.

What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?

We accept payment via all major Credit or Debit cards at checkout.
