SABR Adult Soccer - 18+ Men's League

We offer a 12-week 11 v 11 Spring League for Men 18+ (if you would prefer to play in our 35+ league, please visit our 11 v 11 Spring League for Men 35 and over page instead). As a recreational program, we encourage playing for fun and camaraderie.

The league typically includes a range of skill levels, with some participants having played in college, many have high-school experience, whereas others may have limited experience overall.

How Do I Register?

Registration for the 2022 Spring league is closed.

Registration for the 2023 Spring league should open in late January 2023.  We hope to see you then!

Can I Captain a Team?

Yes, we currently have openings for team captains.  Please Contact Us to let us know you are interested.

You may be the next Pep or Klopp on your way to worldwide fame!

When Does the League Start and End?

See information on first page of Registration.

Each team plays once a week during the 10-game regular season and during the 2 weeks of playoffs.

What Days and Times Are the Games Played?  How Many Times per Week?

Games are played at 6:30pm or 8:15pm on Thursdays.  Each team plays once per week.

Where are the Games Played?

The games will be played at the FAU Game Field, Spanish River Athletic Park, and Patch Reef Park.

What if There is Bad Weather?

In the event of bad weather, please call the City of Boca Raton's Field Conditions Hotline at 561-367-7068.  Games are cancelled if the fields are closed by the City.

If the field is open but the park lightning alarm activates, all players must leave the field and seek shelter.  Play may resume after the lightning alarm resets (typically 20-30 minutes after the last lightning strike detected).  Games may be cancelled due to lightning or weather at the discretion of the referees.

How Do You Determine Teams?

We expect to have 4 teams, with 16 field players and 1 goalie each.

We will attempt to place any players that want to play together on the same team.  If you'd like to play with others, let us know the names of the other players registering that you would like to play with.  We will do our best to try to accommodate, especially if your group includes someone who is interested in being a captain!

How Much Does It Cost?

Registration is $115 plus processing fees.  This includes the $90 league fee and $25 for the annual Florida State Soccer Association (FSSA) insurance fee.

Players who have already paid the FSSA insurance fee for this calendar year (Sept 2020 to Aug 2021) will only be charged $90 at checkout.

The fee includes a uniform (shirt and shorts) for all field players, field permits and 3 referees for each game.

There are discounts for goalies.  If you would like to play goalie for the league, please Contact Us for further info.

What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?

We accept payment via all major Credit or Debit cards at checkout.

What is Your Refund Policy?

  1. Before February 23, 2022, if requested, the League Fee only can be refunded.  Uniform, FSSA, and processing fees cannot be refunded.
  2. After February 23, 2022, no refunds will be issued for this League for any reason.  This refund policy is due to our lean SABR fee structure and minimum registrant requirements.
